First Seminar on Bilingual Education
Collaborative strategies between teacher and language assistant
The Comunidad de Madrid and the Instituto Franklin of the Universidad de Alcalá organize this seminar, which is described as a forum for analysis and demonstration of good practices in the field of bilingual education in Spain.
It is proposed as the main topic the collaboration between the teacher and the language assistant in the classroom with the aim of improving the student learning, as well as to reflect together on the metholology of teaching in the classroom.
The Seminar is addressed to teachers of all educational levels.
Language of the seminar: English.
It will be developed in two days that take place in Alcalá de Henares and Madrid. On Friday the seminar will be held at Colegio de San José de Caracciolos of the Universidad de Alcalá and will consist in a workshop in which teachers and language assistants will interact. On Saturday the seminar will take place in CRIF Las Acacias, in Madrid. This day will be divided in some short talks in which teachers share their methods and experiences and some simultaneous workshops in order to make the seminar more practical.
