7th Doctoral Seminar on American Studies
“Methodological approaches in American Studies: doing research and publishing it.”
The Doctoral Seminar on American Studies of the Instituto Franklin (Universidad de Alcalá) is an annual training activity within the PhD Program in American Studies. This activity is designed for doctoral students, but faculty members are also encouraged to participate and are most welcome. The 7th Doctoral Seminar will take place online on April 21, 2021. This year’s Seminar will focus on the adoption of specific methods of investigation in postgraduate research in the Humanities as the means to foster more incisive analysis and produce more nuanced results. We will also address the use of research resources during thesis writing process, as well as the publication of research, and how to achieve greater scholarly visibility for your work.
