Students need to complete a teaching practicum of Spanish as a foreign language. In order to complete the practicum, students will attend an immigration support services center and will complete some observation sessions and some teaching Spanish as a foreign class. Students need to prepare the sessions including objectives, contents, activities or resources under the guidance of their teaching Spanish practicum supervisor. Students are also required to attend some theory sessions about the characteristics of teaching the immigrant adult population before the practical teaching experience.
If the circumstances do not allow onsite teaching experience, the practicum will be performed online on the Blackboard platform.
