Requirements

1. Student must have a B2 level of English according to The Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR), accredited by a TOEFL ibt (80-90), and/or personal video, and/or interview.
2. Bachelor´s degree.

Documents

Step 1. Students must include the following documents when submitting their online application form:

1.    PDF copy of Diploma translated to Spanish by an official translator.

2.    PDF Copy of Official transcripts translated to Spanish by an official translator

3.    PDF Copy of valid passport during the study time.

4.    PDF Copy of Registration Form from Universidad de Alcalá, filled out and signed by the student. This document will be emailed to each student together with the instructions.

5.    PDF Copy Passport-size photo in PDF format.

Step 2. When applying for their student visa, students will need to obtain additional documents. Some of them should be used to get their student visa, and also they should be sent to us in one single email to mgie@institutofranklin.net.

1.    PDF copy of Legalized diploma in Spanish (the translation to Spanish must be an official translator) following this administrative process:

·         The student´s university diploma must be recognized by the Ministry of Education of the country of origin (the signatures that appear on the original document should be recognized).

·         The previous recognition should be recognized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country of origin as well.

·         The recognition of the signature of the previous legalization by the Spanish Consulate in the country of origin.

2.    PDF Criminal record certificate in Spanish or translated to Spanish by an official translator (the same one used for the VISA process)

3.    PDF copy of the Medical Certificate (the same one used for the VISA process)

4.    Proof of funds (the same one used for the VISA process)

5.    Letter of authorization for handling your personal information. This document will be emailed to each student together with instructions about how to fill it in.

Step 3. Once in Spain an additional Criminal record will be obtained (Certificado de Delitos de Naturaleza Sexual). Instituto Franklin staff will help students obtain it https://sede.mjusticia.gob.es/es/tramites/certificado-registro-central
