North American Literature
Throughout the study of American literature, we get to know the different voices and traditions that are present in the literary pieces. It also allows us to examine the relation between literature and history, as well as the conventions, values, and principles of American society. Doing so, this research area relies on fiction, poetry, theater texts, and essays to explore the concept of "americanness".
