The academic journal CAMINO REAL: Estudios de las Hispanidades Norteamericanas ( DOI: 10.37536/cr) is a double blind peer-reviewed and interdisciplinary publication of the Instituto Franklin-UAH published once a year by Editorial Universidad de Alcalá.
The Instituto Franklin-UAH welcomes critical articles written in English or Spanish that reflect the different sensibilities and peculiarities of the Hispanic world in the United States, including artistic, political, economic, sociological, cultural, literary, and historical perspective.
In addition, the journal also has a section on literary creation and a book review section.
Camino Real is indexed, among others, in the following databases: MLA “Master List of Periodicals”; DICE, ISOC, LATINDEX (Regional Information System for scientific journals in Latin America, the Caribbean, Spain and Portugal; REDIAL and Dialnet.
