The edition reproduces the original text from 1610 and includes an introduction with the main artistic and structural resources of the poem, the text of the work, and an appendix with the census of preserved copies of the original print. In addition, its 849 notes clarify numerous doubts, correct interpretation errors in previous editions, and identify hitherto enigmatic references.
