Robert Brandom and Pragmatism

The Symposium Robert Brandom and Pragmatism was organized by the Centro de Estudios Dewey in Spain and the Research Program Frames of Understanding: A Pragmatist View of Norms and Forms of Life, with the collaboration of the Instituto Franklin-UAH and the Research Program Inferentialism as Social Epistemology. The main goal of the conference was to discussed Robert Brandom’s work departing from his book Perspectives on Pragmatism: Classical, Recent, and Contemporary, with the objective of discussing the interpretation and use given to Pragmatism, and moving on to the analysis and understanding of the different dimensions related to the authors’ thought.
