
She is a teacher, researcher and expert in North American politics. She has been the general coordinator and director of External Relations of the Instituto Franklin de la Univeridad de Alcalá. She has a doctorate in North American Studies from the UAH, a master's degree in European Studies from Heriot-Watt University (Edinburgh) and a degree in Translation and Interpreting from the Universidada de Málaga. In 2014 she was chosen to participate in the Young Leaders Program of the US Department of State.
She is the author of The American Alliance. Spanish Anti-Terrorist Strategy and Hispanic-North American Relations (1996-2004) and co-editor (with Alicia E. Kaufmann) of Hillary. The Power of Improvement, published in this same collection.
