Antonio Daniel Juan Rubio receives the Washington Irving Scholarship 2023
The Secretary of the Spanish Association for American Studies (SAAS) and the Instituto Franklin-UAH grant the Washington Irving Scholarship 2023 to Antonio Daniel Juan Rubio, from the Universidad de Granada, for his project ““The Situation of the Hispanic Population in the United States: Role and Participation.”
Antonio Daniel Juan Rubio has a PhD in English Studies, is an Assistant Professor at Universidad de Granada, and has been a visiting researcher at Instituto Franklin-UAH, Harvard University, and Trinity College Library. The main objective of his project is to continue his research on the current situation of the Hispanic population of the United States through a multidisciplinary analysis, delving into different perspectives, such as education, finance, health, labor, or their role in politics in different national institutions.
