Bachelor’s Degree in History and holder of a Diploma of Advanced Studies in Medieval History by the Universidad de Alcalá. He has participated in the European project CLIOHRES financed by UNESCO and the EU in the group "Frontiers and Identities" between 2005 and 2009. PhD candidate in North American Studies on the concept of Spain in North American travelers. He teaches in the Study Abroad in Spain Program. His interests focus on Cultural Studies, the creation of national identities, Travel Literature and Alterity Discourses throughout History.
