La diplomacia de la independencia: documentos de Benjamin Franklin en España
Although Benjamin Franklin was never in Spain, from 1774 until his death in 1790 he corresponded with members of Spanish royalty, officials and intellectuals. In the archives of Spain an important sum of documents relating to Franklin is conserved, which, in general, have not been used. This book presents a compilation of forty documents and their accompanying notes in order to make them readable and available to a wide number of readers and researchers. The ultimate goal is to add this information to existing knowledge about Benjamin Franklin as well as to show the importance and details of the beginnings of relations between Spain and the United States.
