Miguel Fernández Álvarez is Associate Professor in the Department of Linguistics Applied to Science and Technology at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. His areas of expertise include teaching English for specific purposes, language assessment and bilingual education. He has participated in various research projects on language acquisition and development of academic skills in multilingual environments. In addition, he is Deputy to the Director for International Relations at the Escuela Técnica Superior de Edificación, where he promotes academic mobility and international cooperation.
