Assistant Professor in Moral Philosophy at University of Alcala.
She is the author of the book Gloria Anzaldúa: poscolonialidad y feminismo, Gedisa, 2020. Also, she has published several papers, reviews and book chapters on global justice, racism, poscoloniality, gender’s justice and the idea of borderlands.
Her research on Pragmatisms and Feminisms allowed her to obtain a PhD in Ethics and Politics from the University of Barcelona with the qualification of summa cum laude and the Extraordinary Prize of Doctorate. She also obtained the First Accésit Prize of Feminist Resarch “Concepción Gimeno de Flaquer” for her research on participatory parity in the work of Nancy Fraser.
She has done a research stay at La Sapienza, Roma, and had been appointed as a visiting scholar at the New School for Social Research (New York) and at the Centre of Social Studies (CES) at the University of Coimbra.
She had been adjunct professor at University of Barcelona, the U. Autònoma de Barcelona, at different Universities in Colombia, and collaborator professor at UOC and at the Interdisciplinary Gender Studies master’s degree at University Autónoma de Madrid.
She was the coordinator of some editions of The International Political Philosophy Conference, and of the first and second edition of Philosophy Festival Barcelona Pensa at University of Barcelona.
Currently, she takes part of the high-performance Research Group in Social Philosophy at University of Alcala and of the Consolidated Research Group ‘Crisis of the Practical Reason” at the U. of Barcelona.
