PhD in Economics by the Universidad de Málaga (1975). Director of the Permanent Seminar of Economic and Social History of the Corredor del Henares. He was Director of the Instituto Franklin-UAH (1990-1998). He is the Director of the local enterprise “Alcalá Desarrollo”. He was Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (2007-2010). He created the Library of American Studies after recovering funds from the Centro Cultural Washington Irving and from libraries in Base de Torrejón. He is a regular contributor to the Diario de Alcalá and Corredor de Henares.
