I have always been interested in the environment and the world around us, so belonging to GIECO has allowed me to bring together all my literary and personal interests.
With a PhD in North American Studies since 2014, she is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Modern Languages at the University of Alcalá. She is the secretary of the journal Ecozon@, in which she has participated since its foundation, and was a member of the advisory board of the EASLCE association. Her main lines of research are ecocriticism, ecofeminism, science fiction and fantasy. Her publications include: "Spanish Literature and Ecofeminism" (in The Routledge Handbook of Ecofeminism and Literature, Routledge, 2022); "New Worlds Beyond Reality: Imagined Futures in Laura Gallego's Las hijas de Tara" (in Imaginative Ecologies. Inspiring Change through the Humanities, pp. 107 - 121. Brill, 2021); and "Ecofeminism and Science Fiction: Human-Alien Literary Intersections" (in Women's Studies. The Ethics and Aesthetics of Eco-Caring: Contemporary Debates on Ecofeminism(s), 47 - 2, pp. 216 - 231, 2018).
