The History of Feminism in the United States

This lecture will offer a cronological overview of the history and context of the feminist movement in the United States from its origins until the present, focusing on key events that signaled important changes in both rights and social situation of women.

Bachelor’s Degree and PhD in English Philology. Her main areas of research are in English Narrative in the categories of Class, Ethnicity and Gender, with special attention to the production of Jewish-American writers, representation and commemoration of the Holocaust, and the subject of memory and trauma in Cultural Studies.
