The main goal of the First International Conference on the Historical Links between the USA and Spain, jointly organized by the Instituto Franklin-UAH, the Instituto Cervantes in New York and the City College of New York, was to provide a meeting place for academicians and professionals with an interest in other disciplines related to this subject; to meet and interact with other members inside and outside their own disciplines in the areas of Humanities and Social Sciences.
