Talk and Seminar “Analysis of ‘Mid-Term’ Election Results and its Impact on US Foreign Policy”
The talk was given by John Hudak, a Researcher at Brookings Institution. Julio Cañero, Director of the Instituto Franklin-UAH and Alberto Priego, Director of the Department of International Relations at the Universidad Pontificia Comillas, participated in the seminar. Here, the poor results of the Democratic Party were pointed and attributed to the unpopularity of the President and to the punishment vote, as votes were lost even in states that are traditionally Democrat.
