Round Table “The Participation of Women in Politics in the United States” and Presentation of Tribuna Norteamericana No. 15
On the occasion of the presentation of the 15th Tribuna Norteamericana (internal link to the publication Tribuna Norteamericana No. 15) on the participation of women in US politics, the Instituto Franklin-UAH, in collaboration with Casa de América, organized a round table to discuss issues such as the presence of women in politics in the USA and in Spain, the difference in salaries for women compared to those of men in both countries, the plight of women to access positions of power, cultural influence in these aspects and the possibilities of Hillary Clinton standing for elections to the USA presidency.
The round table was presented by Jose Antonio Gurpegui, Editor of the journal Tribuna Norteamericana, and moderated by Cristina Crespo, Project Director of the Instituto Franklin-UAH.
