Course: Male Violence against Women
U.C. Foundation Associate Professor of Criminal Justice in the Department of Justice, Social, and Cultural Studies at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. She received her BA from Tennessee Wesleyan University, her Master's from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, and her Ph.D. in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of South Carolina in 2013. She has published and presented on work assignments for male inmates and women throughout US prisons, intimate inmate violence, patriarchy in communities, attitudes towards the sexual victimization of men, and attitudes toward sexual harassment. Currently, her research has focused on the victimization of university campuses, attitudes towards consensual sexual relations between faculty and students, and the measurement of social constructs in criminological research.
