Start of the 2024-2025 academic year at Instituto Franklin-UAH
The second week of September marked the start of the 2024-2025 academic year for the Study Abroad in Spain and Teach & Learn in Spain programs at Instituto Franklin-UAH.
Instituto Franklin-UAH welcomed more than 200 international students through the traditional orientation sessions, which aim to provide students with the necessary information to carry out their studies in Spain, covering topics such as Spanish cultural differences, safety and transportation.
The Study Abroad in Spain Program
The Instituto Franklin-UAH's Study Abroad in Spain Program was created in 1987 with the objective of fostering academic collaboration between Spain and the United States through specialized educational programs. It is a university program aimed at international students who wish to study in Spain.
The Teach & Learn in Spain Program
The Teach & Learn in Spain Program is a postgraduate program aimed at native or near-native speakers of English that allows students to obtain a master's degree and experience as a conversation assistant in a school in the Community of Madrid.
This academic program implements a hybrid learning model so that students can experience life in Spain, complete a placement as a school language assistant, and complete graduate coursework in one of the eight master's degree programs offered. This one-year master's degree is accredited by the Universidad de Alcalá and has a course load of 60 ECTS (European Credit Transfer System) credits.
