“La Escóbula de la Brújula” arrives at the Universidad de Alcalá through the Instituto Franklin-UAH
On May 22nd, the Instituto Franklin-UAH organized the live recording of an episode of the radio program “La Escóbula de la Brújula” about the presidential elections in the United States in the San Ildefonso Chapel of the Universidad de Alcalá. The “La Escóbula de la Brújula” team, formed by Carlos Canales, Jesús Callejo, David Sentinella, Marcos Carrasco, Francisco Izuzquiza and Juan Ignacio Cuesta, participated in the recording, along with the Director of the Instituto Franklin-UAH, José Antonio Gurpegui.
During the episode, they analyzed the origin and evolution of the United States electoral process, as well as the way it operates, starting from a general perspective and ending on specific details of the current campaign for the White House: the history and evolution of the main political parties, former presidents of United States or the current system for access to voting as a U.S. citizen.
