The Instituto Franklin-UAH publishes its 2023 Annual Newsletter
On May 8th, 2024, the Instituto Franklin-UAH publishes its Annual Newsletter for the year 2023, a compilation volume of all the activities, achievements and contributions made during the course of said year.
In particular, the Annual Newsletter provides detailed information on the academic offer and impact of the educational programs taught by the Instituto Franklin-UAH, highlighting the individual achievements of students who, thanks to the studies they have carried out at the Instituto, have received awards for their research or have presented it at international seminars and conferences. In addition, the newsletter details the results of the research, highlighting the participation of researchers in academic events such as conferences, seminars, and workshops, and their contributions in numerous books and academic journals.
It also offers a summary of all the events that the Instituto Franklin-UAH has organized or in which it has participated as a collaborator throughout the year, ranging from conferences and symposiums to workshops and seminars, demonstrating the Instituto's commitment to the dissemination of knowledge and the promotion of academic debate. Among them, it is worth highlighting the Camino Real Award , which His Majesty the King has presented to Dr. Ana Fernández-Sesma, or the Thanksgiving Breakfasts , which on this occasion consisted of a dialogue between José Ignacio Goirigolzarri, President of CaixaBank , and María Sarabia, Professor of Business Organization and Vice-Chancellor of Institutional Relations and Coordination of the Universidad de Alcalá.
Finally, the presence of the Instituto Franklin-UAH in the media and other dissemination channels is highlighted, foregrounding the goal of transferring knowledge to the general public. In particular, in 2023 the Instituto positioned itself as a reference center in North American Studies.
