The Director of the Instituto Franklin-UAH, José Antonio Gurpegui, Award for Excellence in the Direction of Doctoral Theses

José Antonio Gurpegui, Director of the Instituto Franklin de la Universidad de Alcalá, has received the Award for Excellence in the Direction of Doctoral Theses from the UAH Doctoral School, 2023 edition, in the category “Senior Director of the Humanities branches, Social and Legal Sciences."

This award, established in 2015 by the Steering Committee of the UAH Doctoral School, seeks to recognize the work that the teaching staff of the Universidad de Alcalá carries out to obtain results in the field of training researchers, and encourage and make visible teaching quality in the direction of doctoral theses. The winners are considered examples or models of supervision in the field of thesis direction, this recognition being an incentive for teachers to continue making efforts and thus continue achieving good results.
