HACU President Dr. Antonio Flores visits Instituto Franklin-UAH
From May 16th to 18th we had the pleasure to receive a visit from Dr. Antonio Flores, President of HACU and Alicia Martinez, Assistant Vice-president of International Affairs. Instituto Franklin-UAH and HACU (Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities) have a long and solid history of institutional collaboration that started in 2007 when Instituto Franklin-UAH hosted the first International HACU conference in Europe.
In this productive visit our guests had the opportunity to meet with the newly elected president of the Universidad de Alcalá, the Assistant Vice-president for International Relations and the different members of the Board of Directors of our own Instituto Franklin-UAH in order to develop new lines of strategic collaboration.
To close the program of working meetings and, as part of the program of events that are taking place this year to celebrate the 30 anniversary of the Instituto Franklin-UAH, Dr. Julio Cañero awarded Dr. Flores with Gold Medal of the Instituto Franklin-UAH and Ms. Martinez with the Silver Medal as recognition for the longstanding collaborative relationship that both institutions have had over the years.
