Dr. Neysa Rodriguez Deynes is a Tenured Professor in the History Department of the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico. Dr. Rodriguez Deynes received her Ph.D. from the University of Mississippi in 20th Century American Diplomatic History. Dr. Rodriguez Deynes is the Chair of the Institutional Committee on Research and Publications of the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico. She is a professor, historian, editor, and museum curator. Dr. Rodriguez Deynes is a member of different academic committees and has published many books and articles related to the history of Puerto Rico. Since 1992, she has been the Chief Curator of different museums in Puerto Rico.
